Since 1908, when cabinetmaker Carl Hansen opened a small furniture workshop on the Danish island of Funen, the eponymous brand has held two philosophies at the core of its furniture creation: an uncompromising dedication to excellent craftsmanship and a duty to reinvent and refine the concept of modern design alongside exceptional designers.
